Glee situation (Post Finn)

          Seeing Finn is alright. It's after that, when the spiral of sadness comes. I also don't need to say how unbelievably sad it is that I need Glee to make me feel feelings. It just makes me think: It doesn't matter what you do or how good of a person you are, we're all gonna die. What's important though, is the journey.

          I know this is incredibly cliche, but hear me out. Nobody in the world matters more to yourself than you. Make choices based on what YOU feel will make you happiest. But like everything, this is easier said than done. I know that going with the flow is easy, and relatively comfortable. It's an incredibly scary world out there, and why risk it? Nothing bad will happen to you if you just stick to the status quo.

          But nothing good will ever happen either. Movie-like stuff will never happen to you. You know, achieving dreams, adventures, true love, whatever floats your boat. Go for it. The worst that could happen will, eventually, happen. But the best that could happen won't happen if you don't try. Move. Go. After all, you only live once.

Dangit Finn Hudson

           Ok... I should never have watched Glee. I can't get through it pretending that everything's all fine. I didn't know Cory Monteith, but it felt like one of my friends just died. And now I'm watching him, the awesome guy that he is, and I just can't believe it. He's just... not here anymore. I can't wrap my head around it. But I need to get through this. Just to be able to say that I did. And it feels like I owe him at least this. How in the world would his friends and family feel about this? He's not even my favourite character in Glee yet it hit me so hard.

          I'm not gonna be happy for quite a while... Just know that it's me, not you.

Bored out of my brain

March 21st thursday
It is two days before my trip to penang, and I am looking forward to the plane ride so so much. It's also probably worth mentioning that it's 11:12 at night and I can't sleep even though I have school tomorrow.

I'm quite certain it has nothing at all to do with the trip, and I'm not helping matters by typing right now. This has been a little insight in my life, I hope my future self thinks this amusing and possibly even worthy of sharing.

March 22nd friday
Sweating my brains out in this dang bus. I don't even know what the hell I'm doing here!

I want to go and buy myself a soda, but Gene (note: that's my brother) says no, and I really don't want to go by myself.



So there you go! There's a couple more of those, but I figure I should save them for a rainy day.

It's Sunday!

And it's time for my first scheduled blog post.

This week on 'Hello I'm Jo', we'll be discussing the recent economical crisis in Russia. I'm kidding. Obviously. What I will be typing about, though, is studying.

I'm having a major exam at the end of this year, and it will literally make or break my entire future. So sometimes I would feel guilty for, say, watching youtube videos on my phone instead of studying.

My problem is, I don't know how to study. My brother has it frickin' easy. He has tons of homework, so he could just sit down and do that. But I can't. Because art students don't get a lot of homework so I have to make some stuff to do, like making notes or memorizing a paragraph or whatever, and that sucks.

I would sit on my desk, thinking I should study, and just stay there motionless while I figure out what I can do to improve, say, economics. So if somebody can just help me out, like should I do mind maps or whatever? That would be super helpful.

A schedule please?

So I thought I should have one of those 'deadline' things. Whaddya say? Yes? Good!

Now. I was thinking, a blog post every Sunday. It would work out perfect for me, because there's school every day except Sunday. I'll probably write something way before Sunday, and I'll have quite a huge backlog, knowing me, so you can count on me for reliable content.

This is just an update, it's not this week's post, so calm your excited selves down. Look forward to a post on Sunday, and I will see you then!

The Feeling (Short Story)

You know that feeling, like you just can't run fast enough? You run and run but the person behind you just gets closer and closer. You feel the anxiety build up, and you start panicking.

Your feet just feel sluggish, sloth like. Why can't they go faster? They hardly seem to be moving! You will them to go faster but in your heart there's a sinking feeling. You know that this is it. Your feet are tired, and you can't go on anymore.

Then the unthinkable happens. You trip, and you fall. In your mind you think, "This is it. I'm done." Your pulse quickens, your mind fills with fear, and you hear the dreaded words:

"You're it."

Penang

I am in Penang at this very moment, reading the Hunger Games, in front of a beautiful sea view.

Don't be jealous now, because... Um...... Because.... Ok, be jealous. Because the food is great, the hotel is great, the family is great, the historical sites are great.

I'll probably gain a lot of weight eating all this junk, but hey, you don't go on holiday every day!

And yes, I am supposed to be in school right now, not enjoying my life, but cest la vie, it is what it is. I'd include pictures, but the iPhone messes EVERYTHING up. Maybe next time.

Big mistake... Or not?

I've just done the stupidest thing ever in the history of today. I revealed this blog to a friend.

We all know what it is that friends do, they judge you. And you, in turn, judge them. It's a never ending circle of judge.

This blog, this insignificant, genius of a blog, will cause many an argument or teasing if revealed to the mass populace. Especially the few involving a specific video sharing website. (coughyoutubecough)

But, that said, welcome Robert! And I hope this meets your expectations. Though I suspect it greatly exceeds it.
