Book binding workshop!

          I went to a french stitch binding workshop yesterday, and boy oh boy was it a success!

A6 sized sketch book

          It was surprisingly easy! All I really need to make one right now is a cross stitching needle and really thick cardboard for the cover. Because for the time being, I can just make it with regular white a4 paper folded in half, or maybe even smaller than that. And I already have cloth for the cover, plainly patterned, but again, I'm just a beginner. I was taught how to insert the elastic band shown above as well but that requires tools that sadly, I just can't afford right now.

          Anyway, all in all, very fun experience! Well worth the RM90 I think. Absolutely invaluable experience.
