Nerdfighters, DFTBA and my novel!

          As usual, I am late to the party, but this is STILL GOING ON, so I'm not all that upset. The vlogbrothers, John and Hank Green, started brotherhood 2.0 in 2007, and I've only noticed their awesomeness NOW. I've seen their videos before, but their terminology and obscurities threw me off. I know OF them, but now I feel like I KNOW them.

          I have yet to complete the nerdfighter pilgrimage, that is watching ALL the videos to better understand them, and write a song verse. That is all I have to say for now, but I'd like to talk about MY. NOVEL.

          I've barely figured out the characters, but so far, here's what I've got:

          The main character is named Elodie Airla Hunter. She is 16, and she is an orphan. She lives in Manhattan with her aunt, uncle and cousin. I think she can control minds, but she doesn't want to because she feels guilty about it. But I'm not sure yet. I've thought about controlling time, and some other supernatural powers, but I need to think this through.

          So she has a hard time adjusting, staying away from people, bullied by her cousin Melantha (Mellie the Malicious?) I'll hammer out the details, but I've got the storyline mostly in my head now, so that's good.
